Be Purposeful

James 4:7-10 (MSG)

7-10 So let God work his will in you. Yell a loud no to the Devil and watch him scamper. Say a quiet yes to God and he’ll be there in no time. Quit dabbling in sin. Purify your inner life. Quit playing the field. Hit bottom, and cry your eyes out. The fun and games are over. Get serious, really serious. Get down on your knees before the Master; it’s the only way you’ll get on your feet.

It's time to get up and be an example for others, we need to stop being so lazy and relaxed (to the point we are immobile) in Christ. Let's not wait for that hardship to come; that causes us to hit rock bottom; before we decide to operate according to God's will. We can all quickly remember that time when God pulled us up out of our lowest and darkest times, some of us might be currently going through another episode right now.

Let's challenge one another to get out there and spread the word and love of God to anyone and everyone. Make each day a purposeful day on presenting the love or word of God to at least one person each day. This world is getting out of control, and people living for this world are on a downward spiral path right to hands of the devil. We need to intervene on their behalf and let the devil know we are here now ready for battle. Because there was someone doing the same for us when we were living for the world or went astray from time to time.
